Brow aftercare

Please be patient, your brows are going to go through a lot of changes.

Please follow these instructions to ensure proper healing and color retention.

Please note that color appears darker for a few days after your treatment. Do not worry, this is temporary. Color will soften and will appear more natural as the healing progresses, I promise!

It is normal to experience peeling of pigment. Fading or loss of pigment may occur during healing, in fact, it is expected, especially for your first treatment! Do not pick. Allow it to fall off naturally.

STEP 1:

1-3 HOURS AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

Rinse very gently with a neutral ph unscented soap (Cetaphil, Cerave, Dr. Bronners, or Dove) and warm water.

DO NOT USE ANTIBACTERIAL SOAPS these are harsh on skin and can pull cosmetic tattooing pigment.

Remove all the lymph.

Dab the area dry with a clean single-use paper towel and reapply a rice grain size of the aftercare ointment.

Avoid getting the area wet for an additional 7 days other than the normal required post-care cleansing process and showering.

You may shower as usual. Please be sure not to saturate the brows in water during a shower.

Clean and apply ointment on brows at least twice per day unless otherwise instructed.

Oily skin clients- you may receive separate instructions.

STEP 2:

FOR THE FOLLOWING 7 DAYS, REPEAT STEP 1, 2-3x per day.

For Normal/Combination Skin: Apply ointment 3x a day

For Dry Skin: Apply ointment up to 5x a day as needed if skin feels tight or itchy.

For Oily Skin: Apply ointment 1-3x per day depending on level of oils present. Some clients may only need to apply ointment at night before bed and as needed throughout the day (brows feel tight or itchy).

IN THE NEXT 10-14 DAYS maintain facial hygiene and apply the aftercare ointment after washing your face or having a shower. DO NOT use an exfoliator or toner.

Please AVOID for the NEXT 7 DAYS

  • Picking, peeling, scratching, of the treatment areas.

  • ALL creams (except the post-treatment care).

  • ALL makeup on the area.

  • High exertion exercising that causes profuse sweating (while the skin is open, sweat will cause a stinging sensation).

  • Saunas, pools, hot tubs, open bodies of water.

  • Facials of any kind (2 weeks)

  • Tweezing/waxing of the brows (2 weeks)

Please AVOID in the NEXT 30 DAYS
